Ark Medical Centre Opens New Dermatology Suite at Healthcare City

We are delighted to announce the opening of our fully upgraded Dermatology and Aesthetic Laser Suite at Ark Medical Centre, Dubai Healthcare City. The new suite doubles the consultation capacity of our existing department and introduces a range of advanced laser and light-based treatments that were previously unavailable at our Healthcare City branch.

The suite is equipped with a Nd:YAG long-pulse laser for vascular lesions and hair removal, a fractional CO₂ laser for resurfacing and scar treatment, and an FDA-cleared phototherapy unit for psoriasis and vitiligo. All treatment rooms are independently ventilated and meet DHA infection-control standards.

Leading the new suite is Dr Sara Khan, Specialist Dermatologist, who brings over 12 years of experience in medical and cosmetic dermatology. Dr Khan's clinical focus includes acne, hyperpigmentation, and hair loss — conditions that are disproportionately common in the UAE due to the climate and cultural grooming practices.

The suite operates Saturday to Thursday, 9 am to 8 pm, with dedicated evening slots available for patients who cannot attend during standard working hours.
